Overall, we liked the look of the place, but the poor service all around made for a disappointing experience.

Good facilities

The disappointing experience started at check in. The lobby area is hot and poorly ventilated. There was only one person checking people in and he was incredibly rude and did not let us feel welcome. The process took 35mins! Very little information was given on resort amenities and the program, so we felt lost and disconnected throughout our stay. The area where lunch are served is like an oven. Not pleasant. The pool closes at 7pm when everyone still wants to enjoy it.

Amazing food and beautiful ambiance

Beautiful location and hotel area. The Thursday dinner presentation was really impressive and the food was great. The breakfast location is amazing with lots of options and really nice food as well. Compared to Stella Garden, the food is a lot better in Labranda and the general ambiance in this hotel is much more beautiful.

We were only staying for 1 night and were given a room close to the beach. Which would have been great, but the outdoor night club was playing music until 01:30 which was quite loud. The staff during dinner was sometimes a bit slow to provide drinks and cutlery.

staff are friendly food quality and variety

-non alcohol drinks are limited -juices are not fresh ( powder/ tang ) -fresh juice with extra charge (40 l.e ) -coffee machines except the one in the reception are filled with low quality (milk-coffee ) -animation team need to interact more with the guests ( however they are personally nice ) -medical facilities need more improvements ( in case of emergency hospital must be closer to the hotel not (70km) far )

The worst 5 star hotel i have ever experienced

The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly.

1- The food variety was poor, the quality was bad, and the snack time was limited and very cheap for a 5 star hotel 2- The beach was poor although a part of it was named the coral beach 3- Treatment of Egyptian guests is totally unacceptable, I reserved a snorkelling trip from your hotel and the trip was cancelled for ridiculuous reasons

Main pool is comfort, Food is tasty

Room area is small, family rooms are only 6 sqms bigger than standard rooms which is considered a deceptive manner, customer service of staff is so poor where respond time is too long and way of conversation is always out of courtesy, food items are limited but tasty, no tissues in rooms and when I asked for them, they told me that they don't provide. Although it is inclusive, you find out that the juices they provide in the breakfast is for money which I have never seen in any hotel in the world, apparently management lack experience and skills. They charged me higher than what I booked on booking.com and told me because the dollar price has changed which also never happened to me before.

Location.. staff.. food.. value for money.. animation team... definitely I would recommend it for families and people looking for beautiful sea and relaxation

The overall behavior of the "corporate deals" with local nationals that should not be allowed in a five stars hotel... I hope the hotel management will listen to all verbal and written comments about this matter and find a solution ASAP.

Everything was perfect.

Everything was perfect. The beach is amazing. The animation team are really friendly and they always know how to keep you busy with entertainment. The pool is beautiful. There are a lot of bars and restaurants inside. Food variety is good. The evening show is very nice also. I love this hotel. It is my favorite red sea hotel.

The reception / front desk staff are really rude and not customer-oriented. They should hire better people because the reception is the only bad thing in the hotel.

A great beach hotel

Let's start by saying that, The hotel is a very reasonable value for money but my first advice would be : don't let the word "royal" makes you expect an outstanding furniture or a very large room, it is still an excellent choice as a midrange 5 stars hotel, 8/10 If you are looking for a good beach to swim, this would be my first recommendation as for me the beach is fantastic 9.5/10. Pools are OK and they will give you different choices with different locations but they are still 135cm maximum depth which is not enough for me, it would be better if it is 160 or 155 that would give me a better relaxing and swimming experience, 8/10 The food quality is good, and the dinner was very good, 8/10 The animation team is great and the night shows are fantastic 10/10 they are doing a great job on the pool, the beach and in the kids area There is a lot Tips boxes in the restaurant but they never ask for tips, Housekeeping are available all the time and they are doing there job in addition to their professionalism 10/10 The chick in took more than 30 mins and thanks for Nicole and Ahmed they helped me to finally finish, 9/10 I think I may come back to Labranda royal makadi but it will not be my next destination, The hotel is clean however you may find a fly in the Restaurant as this is what happened to me, but I understand they are paying effort to keep it clean 8.5/10 Overall, a very good experience
